Hey everyone, welcome back to the podcast.
I hope you're having an incredible week so far.
I just want to start by celebrating the fact that you are all having
such incredible wins these past few weeks and I am so proud of you.
From- reversing Crohn's disease to visible rheumatoid arthritis inflammation
going down to coming off of thyroid medications that you thought you'd be on
for a lifetime, there is so much to be excited about right now.
So I hope you're celebrating yourself and also feel inspired by hearing other- rooted
and rewakened clients' stories and wins.
We're all in this together and I am so thankful to be able to
wash your healing journeys unfold. With that being said,
I'm so excited to dive into your questions today,
so let's get right into it. Your first topic suggestion was
just generally about the thyroid and how to heal it.
And yes, this is such an important topic.
I actually just posted about this on Instagram today.
The thyroid is like your body's accelerator pedal.
It governs metabolism, energy, and your mood.
When it's out of balance, you might notice fatigue, brain fog,
hair, or male changes, or temperature sensitivity.
But the symptoms can be drastically different depending on the person.
When it comes to the thyroid, I cannot, stress enough how important it is
to look deeper than the lab numbers. The thyroid is influenced by nutrient status,
like iodine, selenium, zinc, and iron,
hormone balance, gut health, stress levels,
heavy metals, and even drainage pathways.
always mean. Meaning how well your body is able to process and excrete toxins.
Things like sluggish liver or lymphatic flow can actually put stress on the thyroid
over time. This is a huge re-cause of things like Hashimoto's that I see
really often in my practice.
So my approach is always layered and multifaceted here.
Supporting nutrient status is a big one. I'm ensuring open drainage pathways,
balancing stress and sleep, and looking at the bigger picture instead of just hyper
focusing on a single lab result when it comes to the thyroid.
All of these things are very important. But ultimately I approach thyroid healing the
same as I approach any other illness or any other symptom.
When we use the correct order of operations for healing and energy work.
It's not a matter of if we can heal your thyroid,
it's just how long will it take? How much consistency will it take?
You don't have to go down a thousand different rabbit holes of,
thyroid healing because we're already doing the comprehensive and all-encompassing work needed
to heal your thyroid for a lifetime.
I encourage you to avoid band-aid or quick-fix approaches at all
costs. When you heal your thyroid the right way,
like we're doing, inside, rooted, and reawakened.
You don't have to play root cause whack-a-mole.
We're casting a wide net with this work to address drainage,
nutrients, trauma, parasites,
heavy metals, glyphosate, viruses, and so much more,
that ultimately, And then we call. Cause, the thyroid to malfunction in the first
place. Alright, your next question was about homeopathy,
and if I've ever worked with it. Yes,
I have worked extensively with homeopathy,
and I still have hundreds of homeopathic remedy.
He's in my muscle testing database. So every time I test you for a
protocol update, I'm cross-checking to see if you test strong for any homeopathics
as well. Homeopathy can be a really gentle,
supportive tool for some people,
especially when they're sensitive or- looking for subtle,
energetic shifts. But what I like to tell people is that it's not a
magic fix, and it's not a replacement for supporting the body through nutrition,
drainage, detox, and lifestyle changes.
Energetically, it can- help nudge the body towards balance,
especially when paired with other root cause work.
But my take is that it's best to use as part of a broader,
integrative plan. Homeopathics rarely test strong for my clients because
they aren't typically strong enough to move the needle.
But it comes to more chronic symptoms.
I consider homeopathics more like a bonus support,
especially if you experience- I
consider homeopathics more like a bonus support.
For example, if you experience- and some migraines while detoxing,
that can be a nice time to layer in some homeopathic support.
Or they can be great in acute cases, like if you have a cold
or the flu. But when it comes to longer term chronic symptoms,
I prefer to work with stronger herbs so that you're- You're actually moving through
the layers of healing, not just managing symptoms.
Okay, your next question was, what are your thoughts on fasting according to the
menstrual cycle? This is such an important topic,
and I want to be really clear here, a general- I really don't recommend
fasting for women. We already live in a world that's chronically stressful,
and fasting can add unnecessary stress on the body,
especially with those cortisol spikes that happen when you fast.
And this is coming from someone- who utilized fasting for over six years,
so I totally understand the appeal.
Even though different phases of the menstrual cycle do have different energy and metabolic
needs, trying to restrict food can actually backfire.
It can throw off blood sugar. Hormone balance and energy levels.
Instead, I recommend focusing on nourishing nutrient-dense meals that support
your body through all the phases of your cycle.
So, during your follicular phase, focusing on gentle,
energizing foods that support ovulation. During the luteal phase,
focusing on more grounding meals to balance blood sugar and progesterone
with plenty of protein. And during menstruation,
focusing on rich restorative foods,
especially high in magnesium, to support repair and replenishment.
I do talk about this more in the rooted and rewakened course as well,
if you want a refresher on that. But really,
the focus is on supporting your body,
not stressing it further. Eating an alignment with your cycle,
rather than fasting, is safer. And much more effective for long-term hormonal
health, especially if you're in your reproductive years.
Very few of my clients who have tried cycle-sinked fasting were able to do
it in a way that didn't ultimately harm their sex hormones.
But, That being said, this is simply my point of view of my experience.
I encourage you to always do what feels best for you and your body.
Okay, your next question was about tardor on teeth and whether it relates to
nutritional imbalances. I love this question.
And yes, this is something that is not talked about often enough.
Tardor or calculus forms when plaque hardens,
but it's not just about brushing or flossing.
It can actually reflect deeper mineral or energetically.
Like imbalances in the body. One of those can be calcium
and or phosphorus imbalance.
So if your body isn't using calcium properly,
sometimes due to low vitamin D,
low K2 or low magnesium. Minerals can end up depositing
in the wrong places, like your teeth.
That's pretty common with low calcium. Umm,
also salivary pH and microbiome shifts play a role here.
Foods like dairy. Can temporarily change your mouth's pH and
bacterial balance, which can- Another common root
cause here I see is sluggish detox or drainage,
especially liver congestion. When you're liver and other detox pathways
are- Moved moving efficiently, minerals can crystallize in the teeth,
nails, or skin instead of being properly processed.
And this is often a big contributor to faster tartar build-up.
Also, energetically, tartar can represent area- We'll see because of stagnation parts
of the body that are, quote unquote, holding on,
instead of allowing flow.
So, there can be several root causes at play here,
but you're absolutely right doing, Thank you for and I'll see you There
are other factors that can play a role,
but in your case specifically, I think sluggish detox and drainage are playing the
biggest role. As we continue to support liver flow and open up
your drainage pathways, especially you should start to see the improvements.
Supporting mineral balance with magnesium, K2,
and trace minerals will also help stay in the- supporting
mineral balance with magnesium foods rich in vitamin K2,
and trace minerals will We'll you in Also really help everything to stay in
the right place instead of depositing on your teeth.
Alright, that was all of your topics for today.
I am so proud of you for staying curious,
and I love being able to provide a safe space where we can discuss-
I can't wait to dive into more of your questions in our next- Next
up. So, bye-bye. Okay.
