Hey, loves, welcome back to the Rooted Radio podcast.
First, I just want to thank you so much for your patience with me
in getting this episode out. As many of you know,
I've been moving through the loss of my mom,
and I've needed some time to grieve and solve- often into that process.
There's a quote from Rumi that's really been sitting with me this last week
or so, try to accept the changing seasons of your heart,
even if you've never been through them before. Grace comes when you learn to
love what is. Hey,
I just want to say, I'm deeply grateful for each of you,
for your grace, your patience, and also your commitment to your own healing.
I'm so proud of the work you're doing, even on the days it feels
hard. So with that, let's dive into your questions for today.
Your first question. Do you know what the Akashic records or readings are,
and if so, can you please explain? So yes,
the Akashic records are really incredible and pretty fascinating.
You can think of them like an energetic library that holds the story of
every- soul, past, present,
and even possibilities for the future.
Some people describe it like the book of life, a vibrational record of everything
your soul has ever experienced. I've personally never had an Akashic
rec- I personally have never
had an Akashic record reading done,
but I do believe in them in their power. I think they align beautifully
with the kind of work we do here, bio energetics and energy work.
I personally have never had an Akashic record
reading done, but I do believe in them and their power.
I think they align beautifully with the kind of work we do here,
including bio energetics and energy work.
Just like we use scans and testing to access information beyond the
physical body in the bio energetic plane,
Akashic records tap into that unseen field of energy and wisdom,
which I think is really amazing. So, if it's something you're feeling called to.
I think it's an amazing avenue to explore.
Okay, your next topic suggestion was when new symptoms come up,
it always scares me and makes me feel like I'm getting worse.
But I always hear you say this actually means I'm moving into a deeper
layer of healing. Can you talk about the- Yes,
absolutely. I really want to touch on this because it's something most people are
never told. When you're healing,
it's not linear. It's not better, better,
better every day. Instead, healing is like peeling back in onion layer
by layer. It and it takes time and consistency.
During this process, when a new symptom comes up,
it isn't that you're going backwards. It's that your body has reached a new
level of safety. And now it can finally express what it couldn't
before. Whether that's a physical symptom or an emotion.
This can feel scary if you don't know what's happening,
but it's actually a sign of progress. This is also why it's so important
to have people around you on your healing journey who understand this process and
are able to support you through it because it can be confusing,
but it's all- That's also how your body truly heals.
This is exactly how bio-energetic scams and muscle testing work,
too. We're peeling back those layers and helping the body reveal what it's ready
to address next. Healing is a lifelong journey,
but you do reach a place of home use- Yes.
So, if you're in a spot where you're feeling like you keep getting hit
with new symptoms or new emotions to work through,
keep going. You're doing the work. It feels uncomfortable,
but I've- I promise you're going to get to the other side of it,
and it won't feel like this forever. Okay,
your next question was, have you ever done any guided breathwork sessions?
If so, are there any you recommend? Yeah.
Yes, I have done guided breathwork sessions, and they can be a very powerful,
nervous system tool. My personal favorite free option is
Brave with Sandy on YouTube. I'll link his profile in the notes below for
you if you want to check it out. Breathwork is interesting.
Because while it can be deeply healing,
it can also feel a bit activating for certain people.
So I recommend starting slow, trying it out,
and really noticing how your body responds. There's no right or wrong.
If it feels good, continue. If it feels overwhelming.
It's okay to pause. Our bodies need different supports at different times,
and that's perfectly normal. Scientifically,
breathwork has been shown to lower stress hormones,
increase oxygen flow to the brain and tissues,
support digestion, and even balance the- nervous system.
It's one of those practices that bridges the energetic and the physical which I
love. Alright, next question was,
can you talk more about how to eat for blood sugar balance?
Yes, I love this question. Blood sugar balance is one of the biggest foundations
of balanced health and the way we eat plays a huge role in that.
The simplest way to think about it is this. Always pair a carb with
a fat and protein. That way,
you slow down the release of glucose in- into your bloodstream and prevent those
spikes and crashes. And remember,
a good goal is to aim for 20 to 30 grams of protein per
meal. Getting enough protein alone is huge for blood sugar regulation.
When in doubt, think about meat, roots and fruit.
Those are some of the most bioavailable nutrient-dense foods we can eat.
Roots and fruits are especially great carbs because they're high in fiber and micronutrients,
and they don't have the anti-nutrients that grains often contain,
like lectins and phytic acid. Grains can also be harder to digest
and more stressful on the gut lining, which is why many people feel better
when they remove or minimize grains in their diet.
If you keep your meals simple, meat,
roots, and fruits, you'll notice shifts in inflammation,
Energy and digestion, almost instantly.
And it doesn't have to be complicated. In the rutid and reawakened course,
I talk about nourishboards, which are basically just a super simple way to build
a meal. Throw together a couple proteins like eggs,
fish, or meat, some fr- roots,
maybe something fermented like sauerkraut if you tolerate it,
and you've got a balanced nutrient rich meal without overthinking it.
Okay, last question for today is if I'm sensitive- I'll answer that.
If like to gluten and I eat some, how long does that inflammation and
symptoms last in the body from that gluten exposure?
This is a great question and this is one I hear a lot.
First off, if you know you're sensitive to gluten and you accidentally get exposed-
don't panic, your body is resilient and there are ways to support yourself through
it. The length of time gluten can trigger symptoms really depends on
the individual. For some people, it's just a few hours of discomfort like bloating.
While others, it- For some people,
it just causes a few hours of discomfort like bloating.
But for other people, it may linger for a few days.
In cases of gluten sensitivity, the inflammation can information.
Stick around anywhere from two to five days, sometimes up to a week.
In people with celiac disease, the immune system reaction can actually last weeks because
the body needs more time to repair the damage to the gut lining.
The important thing to remember is your body will recover.
And you can help it along by focusing on hydration,
gentle movement, stress reduction,
and anti-inflammatory supports. Things like extra minerals,
soothing teas, or whatever works best for your system.
So if you slip up, be kind to yourself,
use it as a- information, not judgment,
and just focus on giving your body the support it needs to move back
into balance. Healing isn't about being perfect,
it's about building resilience, and tuning into what your body is really asking for.
Alright, that's everything for today's- episode.
Thank you all again for your beautiful questions.
They really shape the conversations we have here,
and I love the curiosity you bring to your healing journeys.
Remember, healing isn't about doing everything perfectly,
it's about learning to listen, respond,
and trust- your body along the way. I'm so proud of you for being
here, for showing up for yourself, and for continuing to peel back those layers.
I'll see you in the next episode. Bye-bye.
