Hi everyone, welcome back to another episode of Rooted Radio.
Before we dive into your questions, I wanted to share a few reflections from
my trip to Arizona last week.
I also shared photos and more insights.
From this experience inside the Glimmer's community chat,
if you want to check it out. Being at the Grand Canyon reminded me
how healing it is to zoom out and feel part of something bigger.
That vastness helped me reconnect with perspective.
And with the deeper why behind this work.
We also hiked Cathedral Rock in Sedona,
which is known as one of the strongest energy vortexes in the area.
It's said to carry an intense feminine frequency,
encouraging balance. Interspection and emotional release,
which you could definitely feel there. Later that day,
while hiking, I found a four-leaf clover and saw a sign that said,
healing in progress, stay on the trail.
It felt like a quiet- conformation to keep going,
keep trusting, keep healing.
Then, on the drive to the airport, I started seeing angel numbers everywhere,
and then felt a strong nudge to reread the book,
The Power of Now. When I looked it up,
It had 555,555 reviews.
That moment hit me hard. I ended up reading the whole book in one
sitting, and it brought me to a deeper realization that I'm ready to
fully release, the energetic weight of my past diagnoses.
Not to ignore them, but no longer let them define me.
This season is about integration,
about letting go of survival mode patterns and reclaiming presence.
So if you, You're feeling that quiet shift. More calm,
more clarity, more peace. You're not imagining it.
You're healing. And today's episode is all about those real embodied
shifts answered through your beautiful questions.
So, with that being said, let's dive into it.
Your first question was, what immediate changes should a person make to begin
seeing improvements in their health if they've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia,
SIBO, Lupus, arthritis, et cetera?
Do they necessarily have to start a protocol,
or are there small things they can do? This is a great question,
and honestly, starting with the basics is one of the most powerful things you
can do. Instead of jumping into a complex protocol right away- you
want to begin by supporting your body's basic regulatory systems.
This includes stabilizing blood sugar with balanced meals and plenty of protein,
improving sleep hygiene, reducing inflammatory inputs like
processed foods, blue light exposure, and toxic products,
getting daily movement, especially walking,
and, of course, focusing on pooping daily to get your colon drainage open,
and magnesium can be really helpful here. These steps regulate the nerve-
system, calm the immune response,
and make detox pathways more efficient.
So no, you don't always need a full protocol right away.
The first steps are always establishing healthy foundations to build off of.
I'll see you Okay, next question.
Can you talk about fascia and the lymphatic system?
Absolutely. So your fascia is connected tissue that surrounds your
muscles, nerves, and organs.
When it becomes stiff or- . and hydrated,
it can restrict lymphatic flow.
The lymphatic system is your body's fluid,
transport, and immune surveillance network.
It doesn't have a pump like a heart, so it relies on movement,
breath, and muscle contraction to flow- I'm up to muscle properly.
When your lymph becomes stagnant, detox slows down,
and symptoms like puffiness, fatigue,
and skin issues can show up.
So, supporting fascia and lymph isn't just about detox,
it's also about circulation. Inflammation and even immune resilience.
Dry brushing, rebounding, myofascial release,
and proper hydration are simple, but effective tools here.
If you have really tight fascia, detox work,
like what we're doing now, plus some kind of b- work,
like myofascial release, is an amazing combination to loosen things up and
promote lymphatic flow. Alright,
next question. Do we always need binders?
Are they essential for healing, especially with mold talks?
Binders can be really helpful, especially for mold,
parasites, or other chronic infections,
because they bind to toxins and carry them out of the body through the
stool. However, they're not always essential,
especially if you're draining pathways. Like,
your liver, lymph, and gut are working well.
If those systems are moving, your body can often eliminate toxins on its own.
But, that being said, in the beginning phases of any detox journey,
especially where mold is involved, you'll usually- you might
get to a point later on down the line where you don't test as
strong for binders anymore, but during active detox,
they are really helpful for binding microtoxins and safely moving them out of
the body. Okay,
next topic was, my armpits have always left yellowish stains on light
clothes. When you detox, does this go away,
or is that natural? This is a lot more common than people think.
Yellow stains can't result from a few things.
This is including high levels of ammonia in the sweat,
which is probably the most common. Certain detox pathways being overburdened,
pushing toxins through the skin, and reactions between sweat and ingredients
in deodorants or detergents that you can use.
Usually, supporting the liver, improving methylation,
and reducing synthetic personal care products helps reduce that staining.
If it changes as you detox, which is very likely,
that's great, but if it doesn't,
it's like. It's likely a natural genetic or product-based response rather than
a sign of something wrong. Okay,
your next question was, I'm fascinated by how the body signals things before the
mind processes them. Do you have any thoughts or experiences with that?
Yes, this is something I see all the time.
The body often reacts before we can cognitively understand what's happening.
This is due to the interoceptive system,
your body's ability to send- as internal states like temperature,
tension, and pain. When the nervous system perceives a threat or
imbalance, it will often show up as fatigue,
skin changes, tightness, or digestive shifts before you're consciously
aware of that. This is actually protective.
It gives you that time to course-correct before things become chronic.
Learning to recognize those early signs is one of the most powerful parts of
long-term healing, and it's why I'm so passionate about teaching.
When you live inside your body,
slow down, and truly listen to its needs,
you'll find that there are always small whispers of what your body needs before
they become screams. True healing is quieting that noise so
we can attune to those whispers before they become chronic symptoms.
One great example of this actually happened to me last week.
Arizona is super super dry and I unknowingly,
became really dehydrated while I was there.
When I got back to Michigan, I was experiencing slight headaches,
some anxiety, insomnia, and foot cramping.
I took time to really tap in and realize my- body needed more
magnesium and hydration.
As soon as I replenished myself, those symptoms went away completely.
The body truly is so intelligent.
Okay, next question.
Is it possible?
Yes, vision can change and improve over
time, especially when you reduce chronic stress.
Your visual system is linked to your brain and- and your nervous system.
Chronic tension, parasite overgrowth,
poor blood flow, or a constant hyper-alert state can affect
focus and eye muscle coordination.
When you shift into a more parasympathetic- a.k.a.
rest and digest state, you may notice clearer vision.
And addressing drainage and detox is a huge piece of this and restoring safety
to this system. So yes,
it's absolutely possible. I actually used to- I have horrible vision and literally
could not see without glasses. And after doing root cause work for a few
years, I do not need glasses anymore.
So your prescription improving- is a great sign that your body is adapting to
this work in a really positive way. Alright,
another great question. What does it feel like when you're coming out of survival
mode? I've been feeling this- . This
is a beautiful description of nervous system recalibration.
When you shift out of a chronic fight or flight state,
your body begins re-distributing energy towards healing,
digestion, and repeat. That tingling feeling can be due to
improved blood flow and nerve signaling as your parasympathetic
system becomes more dominant.
It's very normal and actually a positive sign that your body is letting go
of that hyper-vigilance. Everyone experiences this differently,
but calm, clarity, sleepiness,
tingling, or emotional release are all common as you're coming out of this survival
mode state. The more you stay in your body during this process,
the deeper your healing will go. Listening to the somatic reawakening audit
listening to
the somatic reawakening audio in module 4 of the course can
also help you ground into your body during this process.
Alright, next question, how can I sleep better?
Sleep is deeply tied to your circadian rhythm,
which is influenced by light, meal timing,
and blood sugar stability. Some quick shifts that help include
morning sunlight within 30 minutes of waking,
no screens or blue light one to two hours before bed,
eat a protein-rich breakfast, and a balanced dinner.
Avoid stimulants like coffee after 2 p.m.,
and try using magnesium at night to calm the nervous system
before bed. Also keep in mind,
if your liver is overburdened or you're always waking up at 2 or 3
a.m., that's another clue to- you support detox and blood sugar more deeply.
Sleep gets better inevitably as your body feels safer and more regulated,
which is what we're working on throughout your protocols as well.
Okay, last question for this episode.
Can you overdo coffee enemas, and is there a point where they stop being
helpful? Great question. So,
while they're amazing for liver detox and bile flow,
over using coffee enemas . Can become depleting,
especially for the adrenals in the colon. That's why I'm such a big fan
of muscle testing when it comes to detox supports like this.
If your body isn't ready for enemas or is feeling depleted by them,
they will not test strong for you. Out!
Outside of this container, I recommend reducing coffee enemas just to make sure you
aren't overdoing it. During active detox,
one to two enemas per week is usually more than enough.
Beyond that, one to two per month can be helpful to maintain liver
and bile. If you are overdoing it with coffee enemas,
your body is going to let you know. It will be very obvious.
You'll usually experience dehydration right after the enema,
so it's pretty clear when they're no longer serving you.
But as long as you're- But as long as they're
nourishing your body and improving liver health,
enemas will continue testing strong, so my recommendation here is always defaulting
to muscle testing. Alright,
that's it for today's questions. I hope these insights help you feel a little
more grounded, clear, and empowered on your healing path.
Remember, your body is not confused. It's constantly giving you feedback,
and the more you be cl- grounded in your body,
the easier it is to listen. I am so proud of every single
one of you for doing this work, and I want to remind you that
you are on the right path. Keep going,
keep tuning into your body, and keep reaching out for support when you need
it. Sending you so much love.
Bye-bye.
