Hello there and welcome back to the podcast.
We have a ton of amazing topics and questions to go over today,
so I'm going to skip the introductions and just jump right on into it.
The first topic suggestion for today was I've come across some information about
the liver and would love to hear more on how the liver may affect
someone's overall health. I've read that a liver overload of toxins can
be one of the root causes of eczema.
Yes, absolutely. This is one of my all-time favorite topics because I find
it's so overlooked in current conversations about holistic healing.
The liver is a workhorse and it's responsible for so many mechanisms
in the human body including detoxifying harmful substances,
metabolizing nutrients, wild production,
and metabolizing hormones like estrogen and thyroid hormones.
However, I have yet to work with a client in my practice who didn't
struggle with some form of liver congestion.
Because we are constantly bombarded with tau- toxins that impact the liver,
and if you never take the time to detox,
most of those toxins will stay in the liver for a lifetime.
When your liver is bogged down with a lifetime of toxin exposures,
you're going to see symptoms like eczema,
acne, bloating, Thyroid imbalances and much more.
There's really not a single symptom you can experience that can't be traced back
to the liver in some way. So,
in short, my answer is yes, you absolutely must work on healing the liver
in order to overcome any chronic pain. Okay,
the next topic was how to overcome food fears,
especially sweets and processed stuff and feeling like it's ruining your
progress. This topic is pretty important to me as someone who struggled with
multiple eating disorders. It's also why I'm
really not a fan of most dietitians and nutritionists on social media who preach
an all or nothing approach. Ultimately,
going on a restrictive diet is never going to heal what wasn't caused by
food. And I'm pausing for emphasis here because I wish I
could scream that from the rooftops.
Every single day, I talk to women who have tried every diet
under the sun but are still completely overridden with chronic symptoms.
Why? Because diets still aren't addressing the root cause.
Yes, it's important to consume whole foods 90% of the time.
But eating a cookie didn't cause your symptoms in the first- place,
it's not going to derail your progress either.
I encourage you to zoom out and look at the bigger picture here,
because that always helped me with my own food fear as well.
Okay, your next question was,
what are some of the driving forces be- behind exercise intolerance?
So when it comes to exercise intolerance, which is a symptom I also dealt
with for over five years myself, it's really driven by POTS,
which stands for postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.
POTS isn't actually a root cause either,
it's really just driven by a high toxin load.
Usually, with exercise intolerance,
you're having irregular heartbeats,
exhaustion, weak muscles,
et cetera. In my experience,
this is almost always driven by pathogens that are causing so much stress to
the body, it's no longer able to exert itself.
In order to heal exercise intolerance,
we have to work on parasite cleansing, especially because they are a huge root
cause. There is no magic fix for exercise- intolerance,
and you can trust me when I say that because I've already tried them
all. The only way to resolve it for good is to work through the
order of operations and create more safety in your autonomic nervous system so it
can handle stress properly again. Which is what we're- already doing inside your program.
It just takes some time for symptoms like this to fully resolve.
Alright, the next topic suggestion was good fast,
easy breakfasts when on the run.
Hands down, my favorite option here is my good old chocolate protein smoothie.
I drink this every day for almost 8 years now and I never get
sick of it. And it's nice because it's super easy to take on the
go. So I will include the recipe in the notes below.
If you want to try it. Another great option,
if you tolerate eggs, is bacon egg breakfast bites,
which you can make in bulk and also keep in the freezer.
I will also link the recipe for those below.
Sometimes I'll also make a Mexican breakfast wrap using a.
Siete cassava flour tortilla,
some ground beef, eggs, sauteed bell peppers,
and salsa. That one's a little more messy,
so bringing it on the go in a glass Tupperware is usually the best
way to travel with it. Okay,
the next- topic suggestion was the journey of surrendering,
trusting even when you are not seeing results in your healing journey.
As someone who spent almost a decade fighting for my own health- I
know all too well how it feels to want to punch someone in the
face when they tell you to trust the process.
I promise I know exactly how frustrating it is,
so instead of telling you to blindly trust the process,
I encourage you to look at your journey so far.
Look at what we uncovered in your bioenergetic scan.
Look at the small wins you've experienced and look at the way your body
is slowly but surely healing.
I often say the symptoms you want to heal first will be the symptoms
that end up healing last. This was true.
In my own healing journey as well as most of my clients.
Because your most intense symptoms are usually the most connected to trauma
and the nervous system, which takes much longer to heal.
So you have to teach yourself to celebrate the small wins.
Along the way and use those as proof to yourself that your body is
in fact healing. Also,
remember that your body heals at an incredibly slow pace.
There are a lot of practitioners out there who will try to tell you
otherwise, but I am not in the business of- quick fixes here.
If you're looking for lifelong healing, the journey is going to take time and
consistency. So you have to find ways to grasp happiness and trust along
the way because it's not going to happen overnight.
So it's important to build up your support system.
And you're nervous system toolbox,
so you have the love and care you need to make it through the
tougher times. Alright,
your next question was, can all diseases be- The
answer to this is, yes, absolutely. The answer to this question is so simple,
but we've been so blinded
by the mainstream medical industry that we no longer know the answer.
Everything, and I will repeat everything,
has a root cause. Every single illness under the sun has a root cause.
Does mainstream medicine fall short almost 100% of the time in identifying
the root cause? Yes, but the root cause is still there.
It will look different depending on illness and the person obviously,
but nothing happens out of a void. Every action causes a reaction.
Every symptom happens for a reason.
Is every illness curable?
No, death is inevitable, but the reason I do this work is because- In
today's world, the illnesses that are killing the most people,
like heart disease and cancer, do have root causes.
Chronic illness doesn't happen overnight. It manifests after years of stress,
trauma, toxin accumulation,
and- nutrient deficiencies. If we can catch those root causes earlier on
in life and address them properly, we effectively create a future for ourselves where
we bypass these illnesses and die of old age,
instead of the diseases, the See you soon. So that more commonly cleave low.
Instead of the diseases that more commonly claim lives,
especially in the US. Okay, the next topic kind of ties into this one
which Which is the immune system.
You mentioned I always took vitamin D to improve my immune system.
Through these protocols is our immune system improving and will it be easier for
our bodies to fight illnesses? Yes,
correct. Again, the root causes of immune system dysfunction are exactly
what we are addressing by doing this work and setting the stage for a
healthier immune system later on in life. The most common stressors to the immune
system are parasites, heavy metals,
gut permeability, sluggish liver,
emotional stress, and Other, Torxins and pathogens that build up in the body
over time. By doing this work,
we are effectively addressing the root causes of immune system dysfunction
at its core. Alright,
last question for today. I normally oil pull with co- no oil each
warning for 10 to 20 minutes. Do you recommend this practice and what are
the benefits? Yes, I do love oil pulling for oral health.
Oil pulling is actually an ancient Ayurvedic practice,
which reduces harmful bacteria, prevents gingivitis,
reduces in. you And it can also help with gut health.
If you struggle with any kind of oral imbalances,
oil pulling can be a great practice to try adding into your routine.
I'll also link a great study in the notes below that shows a lot
of benefits of oil pulling as well.
Alright, that was all of your topics for this week.
